Dr. Katherine Meshkati

Dr. Katherine Meshkati, a proud Syosset native, brings a wealth of knowledge and exceptional skill to our practice. After earning her Cum Laude B.S. in Psychobiology from Binghamton University in 1997, Dr. Meshkati moved to Boston to attend the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society—an honor reserved for the top dental students.

Following dental school, Dr. Meshkati further refined her expertise during a one-year general residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. Her remarkable performance led her to be selected as a chief resident for a second year, where she honed her skills alongside some of the most respected dentists in the field. It was during this time that Dr. Meshkati began collaborating with Dr. Zapantis, ultimately joining our practice in 2002.

Dr. Meshkati is a valued member of several esteemed organizations, including the Nassau County Dental Society, New York State Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the OKU Honor Society at Tufts University. She has earned the prestigious title of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (M.A.G.D.), an honor bestowed upon dentists who meet rigorous continuing education and professional achievement standards.
